Timeless Elegance in Santa Clotilde Gardens – A Wedding Shoot with Christina & Thomas
On a quiet, golden morning in the stunning Santa Clotilde Gardens of Lloret de Mar, I had the pleasure of photographing Christina & Thomas during a wedding editorial that felt both intimate and effortlessly refined. This session followed a relaxed engagement shoot at the beach the evening before – a soft, sunlit prelude to the more polished and styled shoot that followed.
A Garden Full of Character
Santa Clotilde Gardens is a location that speaks for itself – with its sculptural cypress trees, terraced pathways and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, it’s no wonder it's one of the most iconic settings on the Costa Brava. In the early light, the entire space felt calm and cinematic – the perfect backdrop for images that breathe stillness and emotion.
Two Dresses, Two Moods – Bridal Fashion That Tells a Story
Christina chose two contrasting bridal looks for this shoot, both bringing their own distinct elegance to the stunning backdrop of Santa Clotilde Gardens. The first gown, by Kaviar Gauche, featured clean lines and a minimalist design. Its structured silhouette and modern cut perfectly complemented the garden’s architectural layout, while still feeling effortlessly soft in the morning light. This look captured a timeless, understated sophistication.Later, Christina changed into a second gown by Miavi Couture. This dress, with its delicate lace, fitted corset bodice, and flowing scarf detail, introduced a romantic, almost ethereal mood. It added a sense of softness and intimacy, balancing perfectly with the strong green textures of the gardens. Both designs highlighted different sides of Christina’s personality and showed how powerful bridal fashion can be when it truly reflects the spirit of the couple and the setting.
Guided, Not Staged – My Approach Behind the Camera
While I love capturing spontaneous moments throughout the day, I also believe that gentle direction – especially during couple portraits – brings out the best in people. My goal is always to create natural interaction that feels real and unforced, even when I help position hands or adjust posture. This shoot reflects that balance: a curated aesthetic with room for movement, intimacy and subtle emotion. No stiff poses, no overdone drama – just honest, refined imagery.
A Thank You to Christina & Thomas
Thank you, Christina & Thomas, for your trust and openness – and for embracing the calm, early morning light with such grace.
And a special thanks to Kaviar Gauche and Miavi Couture – your gowns elevated this session and added a layer of elegance that made these images truly stand out.

FAQ – Wedding Photography & Film
Q: What is the difference between a full wedding film and a highlight film?
A highlight film captures the most emotional and significant moments of your wedding in a short, cinematic video, typically lasting 3–5 minutes. A full wedding film is a more detailed, longer version that covers the complete day.
Q: Why should we consider analogue photography for our wedding?
Analogue photography creates timeless images with a unique, organic feel. It captures light, colors, and emotions in a way that digital photography often cannot fully replicate.
Q: How do you approach posing during the couple session?
While I capture most of your day in a documentary style, during the couple session I offer gentle guidance to create natural and relaxed poses that feel authentic to you.
Q: Can we have a studio session even if we’re already married?
Absolutely! Studio sessions are a wonderful way to create artistic portraits at any stage of your journey together, whether after your wedding or just to celebrate your love.
Q: How should we prepare for our studio session?
Just bring yourselves and maybe a few outfits you feel amazing in. I’ll take care of the atmosphere, lighting, and creative direction to ensure you feel comfortable and confident.
