Wedding Video in Berlin: Why I Film Your Day on Super 8 and Camcorder

Most wedding videos try to look like a movie trailer. Mine don’t. I film your day on a Super 8 camera and an old camcorder — grainy, warm and a little imperfect, the way memories actually look.

As a wedding photographer born and raised in Berlin, I film alongside my photographs. No extra crew, no second team — just me, quietly there. See the films.

Not a highlight film — a memory that moves

Your film is one to two minutes long. No drones, no slow-motion drama, no staged scenes. Just the moments in between: the first look, the trembling hands during the vows, the speeches, the dance floor at midnight.

Filmed by your photographer

I film myself, between photographs. That means no extra crew at your wedding and nobody else to coordinate — one person, one story, told in stills and in motion.

Music and original sound

Your film is set to music, with the voices and laughter of your day where they matter — a line from your vows, a laugh during the speeches.

Why real film?

Super 8 and old camcorders remind me of my childhood and my grandfather. Real film is developed and scanned by hand, which takes time: your film arrives within three months of your wedding.

What it costs

Film is available as an add-on to my wedding photography, from €1,500 — in Berlin and across Europe. Discover film or check your date.

FAQ — Wedding film Berlin

How long is the wedding film?
One to two minutes — long enough to feel the day, short enough to watch again and again.

Can we book film without photography?
No. Film is only available together with my wedding photography.

When will we receive our film?
Within two to three months. Super 8 film needs to be developed and scanned before I can edit it.

Can we choose the music?
Yes, you can tell me what you love. The final selection depends on music licensing.

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. I photograph and film weddings in Berlin, across Germany and throughout Europe.
